The interactive session will use real-life examples to help understand the importance of taking steps to be prepared for the inevitable cyber attack. We will see that no organization is too small to be a target. We all have important information that needs to be protected: we’ll talk about some of that information. We all face similar threats: we’ll talk about these threats. We will review some fundamental things that can be done at your organization to be better protected.

When this session is complete, you will have an understanding of what to do – and why! You will also have a beginning framework for improving your cybersecurity protections.

Dan Strom is a lifelong Kansan whose long career has touched many aspects of technology: engineering, technical architecture, technical training, programming, network management, compliance, and cybersecurity.

He formed SureDefense Strategies LLC in 2020 with the purpose of helping small and medium-sized businesses, non-profits, educational and religious organizations to create, develop and maintain a reasonable cybersecurity stance.
